A person needs to stand for something. I’ve heard this said before and I agree. My mission is to help others create lives they find meaningful.
What makes life meaningful?
I think a meaningful life is one where we focus on relationships and experiences over material possessions. To me, a meaningful life is one where you accomplish something, such as helping others or making the world a better place. I hope my accomplishment is shifting the thinking of at least some people away from living life to acquire stuff.
This wasn’t always my goal. I used to focus on achievement in the form of good grades, a prestigious profession, and monetary wealth. I’ve found these things unfulfilling.
While my thinking has shifted, I have to admit that I still think about money. However, my goal is to make enough without trading all of my time for it. I want to earn a living in a way that allows me to have more experiences and spend more time with the people I like. I want to help you find a different way of living too.
Do you have a mission in life? Do you have something you stand for? If so, I’d love to hear about it.
